You Are Fired! Katy Perry Storms Off Interview After Admitting She Does Take Pills

Ahead of the star-studded spectacle, Katy Perry, took the reigns during an awkward interview with George Shelley and Lilah Parsons at London's 02 Arena on Wednesday night.
The pop songstress, 32, told the presenting duo she was going to 'fire them' during the brief interview where she discussed 'taking pills' to calm her nerves.

The Roar hitmaker spoke about how she loved Ed Sheeran, to which George responded: 'Well we won't keep you too long!' 

'Oh, alright. I'm leaving! Fine, I'll leave!' Katy jokingly took it the wrong way.

Katy was then quizzed about her nerves to which she answered: 'I take pills for that stuff! Hello! No… I have butterflies!'

Lilah then tried to wrap up the interview by stating: 'Katy Perry thanks so much for chatting with us. We're going to let you go,' - and that's when all hell broke loose.

'You're gonna let me go? I'm firing you!' Katy yelled back, before walking away.

Trying to recapture her attention, George stated to Perry as she walked away: 'Do you want to do a mic drop?'- which she ignored.
