President Trump has congratulated House Speaker Paul Ryan, majority whip Steve Scalise, and the entire Republican party over budget passage, and equally challenged them to spur spur action on tax cut.
The House passed the Senate’s version of the budget resolution with a tight vote of 216-212 on Thursday night. Like the Senate, the Republican lawmakers passed the budget through a reconciliation rule that will give room for a tax debate with a simple majority.

The passage of the budget at both chambers is a win for the Republicans which will enable them to pursue the delivery of tax reform, an incredibly important agenda necessary to sustain their base after recording failure with Obamacare repeal.
