Food for the famished
Nachos:
1. Layer nachos, tomato, salsa and grated mozzarella on a baking tray.
2. Bake until cheese is melted.
3. Top with guacamole and sour cream and serve.
Hot chips
1. Bake trays of oven chips, season and serve with a cheesy sauce.
Pizza
1. Buy pizza dough and get the kids to make their own, using a variety of toppings.
Gourmet popcorn
1. Put out toppings of sprinkles, chocolate, vermicelli, Tabasco Chipotle, Pepper Sauce and spicy salt.

The chocolate game
A dice is rolled and whoever gets a six must try to eat from a slab of chocolate with a knife and fork (after putting on a selection of dress-up clothes, and socks on their hands). It’s a kids’ game that teens love!

Include challenges like egg roulette, where out of a tray of six eggs, only five are hard-boiled. Participants have to take turns smashing eggs on their heads. Who will get egged?

How to make a doughnut wall: An edible trend any teen will love
1. You’ll need a peg board, dowels, paint and a variety of doughnuts.
2. Paint your peg board with one or two coats of paint and allow to dry.
3. Once dry, position against a wall or on top of a table.
4. Pop doughnuts on your peg board either randomly or in a pretty pattern.

1. YOU’LL NEED: A variety of spoons, a baking tray, a slab of white or milk chocolate, sprinkles and mini marshmallows.
2. Break chocolate into pieces and heat slowly in a glass bowl over a pot of simmering water, whisking once melted. Line a baking tray with the spoons.
3. Transfer melted chocolate to a jug and pour into spoons. Allow to cool, then decorate with sprinkles and mini marshmallows. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
