The advisory board was established last year to honor founder Dr. Fredric Brandt and his contributions to innovation in dermatology. The advisory board includes several high-profile skin-care specialists who have been identified for being outstanding in their fields. The newest member is Dr. Shasa Hu, a board-certified dermatologist and associate professor of dermatology and cutaneous surgery at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Hu is also president of the Miami Society for Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery. As a scientist, clinician and educator, Hu strongly believes in the importance of teaching patients and consumers about the science behind skin health.
