Suspended NIA DG Barred from Aso Rock, Allegedly Weeps

The suspended Director-General of National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Ambassador Ayo Oke, on Wednesday betrayed emotion as he made desperate attempts to enter the Presidential Villa, Abuja shortly after his suspension was announced.

Oke was said to have made frantic attempts to seek an audience with the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, but was turned back.

He made efforts to avoid journalists, so they won't capture him on camera. In the process, he was driven towards the Service Chiefs’ Gate from where he was turned back.

The big man has since left the Aso Rock premises as he wasn't allowed to see anyone.
