This is coming after SERAP called on Obasanjo to disclose donations made to his presidential library.
The Governor of Ekiti state, Ayo Fayose has revealed that former President Olusegun Obasanjo forced Governors in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to pay N10m in 2005, for the construction of his library.
According to Punch, Fayose said this while speaking at the opening of the PDP Southwest stakeholders’ meeting in Ekiti state on Monday, March 6, 2017.
This is coming after the Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) called on Obasanjo to disclose donations made to his presidential library.
SERAP also asked Acting President Yemi Osinbajo to propose a bill seeking to regulate fundraising to presidential libraries.
According to reports, Fayose called on the former President to refund his own donation with interest.

The Ekiti state Governor also said Obasanjo should stop acting like a saint.
The multi-billion naira presidential library was commissioned on Saturday, March 4, 2017, with dignitaries from all over the world in attendance.
