Zimbabwean police have announced that missing politician has been found dead on his farm land on Tuesday, March 14, 2017.
After being declared missing three days ago, a high-ranking provincial official from Zimbabwe’s ruling party has been found dead on his farm.
The deceased identified as Nathaniel Mhiripiri, the ZANU-PF party’s secretary for labor and social welfare in Manicaland province was discovered by the police on Tuesday, March 14, 2017.

The police disclosed the information on Wednesday, March 15, 2017, revealing that the deceased was found in a pool of his own blood in the town of Rusape.
Preliminary reports point to murder as the cause of death.
Mhiripiri had been missing for three days before his remains were found.
According to Police spokesperson, Tavhiringwa Kakohwa, the case is being treated as a murder case, but he declined to comment on the motivation behind it.

Punch reports that Mhiripiri was a well-known supporter of Vice President, Emmerson Mnangagwa, who is speculated to eventually succeed 93-year-old Zimbabwean President, Robert Mugabe.
