Vacancy for ONLINE CHARGING SYSTEM ENGINEER (OCS ) at Mactay Consulting

►   Responsible for OCS application administration and troubleshooting of multiple Development, Test, Production and Disaster Recovery environments ►   Troubleshoot and resolve OCS Application and Infrastructure issues including off hours support for production as needed ►   Support Technical Application enhancements related to performance, security, patch and automated deployments using scripting ►   Maintain the current response and availability service levels ►   Perform trouble shooting of technical problems on Linux/Unix servers, as well as offer resolutions accordingly ►   Performs daily system monitoring, health check, verify the integrity and availability of server resources, systems & key processes ►   Reviewing system & applications logs and verifying completion of schedules jogs (e.g. backup) ►   Document UNIX / LINUX OS/server problems and resolution for future reference ►   Maintain technical documentation and procedures ►   Maintain the UNIX / LINUX OS/server assets inventory ►   Work as part of a team and provide 24x7 support with on-call rotation ►   Proactively monitor the database systems and ensure minimum downtime ►   Maintenance and improvement of databases including installation, configuration, upgrade, patches and bug fixes ►   Performance tuning, including database/query tuning and re-writing SQLs
