Still reeling from the NBC News Wednesday report alleging that the Secretary of State called President Trump a moron and almost resigned in July – a development which steered controversies and painted the cyberspace, President Donald Trump has once again bemused the activities of the media house.
Trump, who shortly after the release of the report on Wednesday described the news agency as more dishonest than CNN, accused them of lacking standard and failing to verify the authenticity of the allegation before circulating it, and as usual he dubbed the report as “fake news”.
The President wrote in a tweet, “Rex Tillerson never threatened to resign. This is Fake News put out by @NBCNews. Low news and reporting standards. No verification from me”.

Meanwhile, the subject of the report, Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson equally on Wednesday dismissed the report, saying he never contemplated to resign, with State Department spokesman insisting his boss never called the President a moron and does not use such words on anyone.
