The presidency postponed today’s Federal Executive Council meeting till tomorrow Thursday for a “special session” where the council will discuss 2018 Appropriation Bill.

This matters because the Federal Government had promised to deliver the 2018 Appropriation Bill to the National Assembly before the of the month.

Commenting on the now-dubbed “Mainagate” scandal surrounding the questionable reinstatement of the estranged ex-pension boss Abdulrasheed Maina, former education minister, Oby Ezekwesili, said it is “a controversy too many” for President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.

The Nigerian Air Force said today that it believes Mallama Fitdasi, the wife of Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau has been killed in air strikes carried out on a hideout in Borno.

The Air Force Public Relations and Information Director Olatokunbo Adesanya confirmed the strikes.

The Nigerian Universities Commission (NUC) made a shocking revelation today that only 30 percent of the 1.7 million Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) candidates will get admitted into the Universities, this year.
