The movie is already up to a good start.
After earning itself a premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), Ishaya Bako’s romantic comedy may well be on its way to cinema glory.
Everything else seems good as it is. It’s an EbonyLife production – tested and trusted. Zainab Balogun as lead character has us rubbing our palms. It can boast of four major Nollywood veterans – Joke Silva, Olu Jacobs, Jide Kosoko and Rachael Oniga; the latter being the cause of our joy.
Oniga has made a comeback with a number of new Nollywood movies and pairing up with Jide Kosoko in this one should make for another TinTin/BamBam moment, if you know what we mean.
The Royal Hibiscus Hotel was screened in Lagos on Thursday and we have photos to get you prepped for what’s to come:
