Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko (Sokoto Central) has said the eighth Senate is working on the basis of mutual trust and respect, not on sentiments or emotions.
”We are all there as Nigerians, to work in the interest of Nigeria and Nigerians.We are not working along tribal or religious inclinations,” he stressed.
The Senator was fielding questions from journalists Saturday at his hometown, Wamakko, in Sokoto after casting his vote in a by-election for Wamakko/Kware Federal Constituency.
He stated that efforts of the tiers of government is to deliver on their promises and, meet the aspirations and emotions of the people.
