While rain is necessary and most welcome, it can wreak havoc on a hairdo! Here’s how to make sure you look great come rain or shine.
Dry it thoroughly
If you have washed your hair before going out, make sure it’s completely dry before you even think about going anywhere. If there is moisture in your hair and it comes into contact with any moisture in the air outside, you’ll be a lot more susceptible to frizz.
Create some texture
If you have naturally curly hair, get out your tongs and make it curlier before the rain has a chance to do it. If your hair does get wet it will be less noticeable if your hair is curly than it would if it were straight.

Use a product
Even if you don’t usually use styling products, they can really help to prevent frizz and flyaways when the weather is rough, so it might be time to invest in some. A strong-hold gel can help slicked-back styles stay sleek or, if you want to wear your hair loose, applying a sea-salt spray before heading out can create a natural, tousled look if there’s a downpour.
