A two-term senator from Katsina State, Mahmud Kanti- Bello, is dead.
The senator reportedly died in his Abuja residence at about 4:00 am on Tuesday morning.
Kanti-Bello was the pioneer Managing Director of Katsina Steel Rolling Mill.
He was also the Senate Chief Whip during his stint in the upper legislative chamber.
