Vacancy for Mechatronics Technician at Mactay Consulting

Ensures the functionality of safety installations and perform regular checks • Eliminates upcoming technical safety issues • Installation and ramp up of new equipment • Troubleshooting in timely manner at all production lines as well as compressor, CIP and DI water system related to quality and performance deviations based on technical problems • Perform changeover activities at the production line and work on improvements to reduce planned downtimes • Improve unplanned downtime by setting new solutions in process and operation • Support production team by structured problem solving to find the root cause • Operate and maintain compressor and DI water system • Shop floor training of operators in best practice methods and problem analysis • Plan, execute and improve mechanical and electrical maintenance of the whole equipment • Responsible for spare part management • Repair mechanical and electrical components • Initiate and support improvement projects • Control maintenance costs and support operations manager in maintenance budget planning • Ensure growth of knowledge by setting all kind of standards (SOPs, working procedures, visual controls, maintenance plan, etc.) • Support shift leader in enabling operators to perform on high level  QualificationsOND mechatronics or electrician with mechanical exp. Or mechanic with further qualification in Work experience: at least 3 years of experience in technical roleExperience in problem solving methods (Ishikawa, Six Sigma, 6W2H, Root cause analysis, etc.)knowledge of the cosmetic, chemical, beverage or food plant.Ability to read, interpret and understand plans, electrical/process schematic diagrams, wiringExperience with repairs and maintenance of processing equipmentGood communication skills and proactive behaviorMicrosoft Office (EXCEL AND WORD)Basic knowledge of programming PLC siemens S7.SAP desired but not a must.
