The Benefits of Sweating


Sweating is SO good for you! There are so many reasons why it is important to sweat. Not only to burn those calories, but also for all the other benefits of sweating. Some of the reasons I LOVE my G-Fit circuits is because they are fast and efficient, giving you a good muscle burn while making you SWEAT! It doesn’t take long to build up that inner body heat and reap all the benefits of a good sweat. Check out a few reasons why sweating is so good for you and join me in a fun “sworkout” (sweaty workout) in my video to get your heart pumping and body sweating!

5 Reasons You Need to Sweat Daily

1. Increase circulation. When the heart has to work harder, circulation increases. The harder you work and the more you sweat, the more you are strengthening your heart muscles and building your cardio endurance.

2. Boost your immune system. Did you know that when you start to sweat, your body reacts like you have a fever? Your body tries to fight the high temperature as if it were fighting illness. This strengthens your white blood cells and boosts your immune system.

3. Decrease cellulite. The harder you work, the more calories you burn. Sweating and calorie burning also causes the body to decrease and remove cellulite by burning body fat and shedding unwanted body fat.

4. Cleansing effect. A good sweat cleanses your pores, improves the tone and texture of your skin and can leave you with a gorgeous, healthy glow. Sweating naturally removes toxins from your body, making you feel incredible. Don’t you just feel so refreshed after a good sweat?

5. Feel AMAZING. Sweating just makes you feel good! Whenever you get a good sweat, don’t you just feel so much better? Something about that natural endorphins and getting that heart rate up lifts your spirits and just makes you feel amazing. When in doubt, just sweat it off!

G-Fit Sworkout

• 1 minute of cardio — move your body, and do whatever you need to boost that heart rate (jump, skip, run in place, booty kickers, jumping jacks … just move)
• 1 minute of bodyweight squats
• 1 minute of cardio — move your body
leg extensions — 30 seconds on each side
• 1 minute of cardio — move your body
• 1 minute of jump squats
• floor butt-blasters— 30 seconds on each side
• 1 minute of jump squats
• 1 minute of crunches
• 10 plank jump-ups, superset with 5 push-ups x 3

Done!
