Mercy Aigbe’s estranged husband Lanre Gentry has been remanded in Kirikiri prisons for assault and violence against his wife.
The 52-year-old hotelier, who finally appeared in court on Tuesday after failing to show up twice, is being remanded in prison until he meets the bail demands of N500,000 and two sureties who reside in Lagos and have landed properties.
He was granted bail on Tuesday after he was arraigned at an Ikeja magistrate court on three-count charge of domestic violence, assault and threat to life.
He has failed to meet his bail conditions and will be in jail until he fufils them. The case has been adjourned to July 12th 2017.
