Pep Guardiola has declared Manchester City the best team in the Premier League after victory over Crystal Palace.
After seeing his men move third in the Premier League with a 5-0 rout of Crystal Palace the Catalan insisted that his team have outplayed every other side in the division this season.
Guardiola said: “We are the best team in the Premier League to create clear chances.
“Maybe I remember one game where the opponent created more chances than us – against Tottenham at White Hart Lane.
“The others? No chance. We have been better than all the other teams – but we have not been able to score goals and that is the most difficult thing to do in football.
“You see Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus. They create chances, similar like us, but they have three guys that score goals.
“It is the same in basketball and tennis and all the other sports. You have to finish it.
“We have miss a lot this season. That’s why today it was different because we scored goals in the first minutes of the first half and the second half.”
