The 20-year-old was supposed to be looking after the donkey and used the cover of bushes to hide his shameful act .
Freedom Nyathi, from Zvishavane, Zimbabwe, was caught in the act by other herdsmen who reported him to the donkey's owner.
Nyathi claimed in court he did not know what came over him.He was married with a wife expecting their baby, he said after pleading guilty to bestiality.
Disgusted magistrate Shepherd Munjanja, jailed him for eight months.
