The first executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Isiaka Adeleke is dead.
Adeleke reportedly died Sunday morning at Biket Hospital, Osogbo, the state capital.
His corpse has been taken to his residence with preparations being made to bury him in accordance with Islamic rites.
After serving as a two-term Senator of the Peoples’s Democratic Party ( PDP), Adeleke defected to the All Progressives Congress and was re-elected in 2015.
