A woman, whose name is yet to be identified, has been arrested in Benue state for kidnapping two children and attempting to escape with them.
It was learnt that the two children are from the same parents given their surname.
Daily Post reports that the woman kidnapped the two children and was on her way to Onitsha, Anambra state before she was caught in the Aliade area of the state.
Upon questioning, the children were said to have revealed their father’s name as Sarwuan Zaki of Kponko Church, around Modern Market, Makurdi, the capital of Benue state.
Joy Iorhuna, a witness, was quoted as saying the two children and their abductor had been taken to the police station in police in Aliade.
The report said the public relations officer of the Benue state police command, Moses Yamu, had not reacted as he did not take his call.
