The body of a popular blogger and journalist who was a thorn in the flesh of government officials in Bauchi State has been discovered in the street.
A popular journalist and blogger in Bauchi State, Abdulhakeem Bauchin Bauchi, has been found dead a few days after he was declared missing by his family.

Bauchi who was well known in the state and environs for his bold writings on Human Rights abuse, according to his friends who made the announcement on Facebook, was reportedly abducted by some unknown men.

His family was said to have made a report to the police and while a manhunt was launched for Bauchi who was preparing for his wedding in a few weeks time, his corpse was discovered on the roadside some days later.
It was gathered that the mutilated body of the blogger who was said to be at loggerheads with some top government officials following his expose of their illegal activities, was dumped by his killers in the early morning of Thursday, March 16, 2017.

His friends have been mourning the demise of the deceased of social media since the discovery.
