Ego Boyo, Veteran actress who has starred in popular TV soaps over two decades ago is still a household name in Nigeria even as she has been off the screen for a while.
The veteran actress has been named the 60th president of the International Women Society (IWS), a non-governmental, non- profit and non-political organization which was founded in 1957.
According to a statement from IWS, Ego Boyo will be the 60th president of the distinguished society and will be invested at an event that is set to hold today, Tuesday 14th of March, 2017.
The event showcased women who are doing extraordinary work and changing lives with a photography series. It also served as a “call to arms” to young women to embrace charitable service, whilst pursuing their career.
