A man from the north of Nigeria has shown that one can aspire to become anything in any part of the country by contesting for a position in Ebonyi.
Despite the distrusts that most Nigerians see themselves especially when it comes to tribal difference, a man from the Northen part of the country has shown that he is really a true Nigerian.

The man, Alhaji Salisu Mohammed, is contesting to be a councilor in Ebonyi State in the coming local government elections.
Alhaji Mohammed who is said to have lived in the state for a very long time and speaks the Igbo language fluently is eyeing the councillorship position in the Abakpa Ward 1, Abakaliki, the state capital, on the platform of the People Democratic Party (PDP).
According to those who know Alhaji Mohammed, he is one of the pillars of the party in the state and has contributed much to his immediate community and has the backing of some top politicians in the area.

Whether he will go ahead to win the position or not is left to be seen.
