A 49-year-old man has been arraigned at a court in Lagos for raping and impregnating his landlord's daughter.
A sex-starved man, Ajibade Adefioye, 49, has been dragged before an Ikeja Chief Magistrates’ Court sitting in Lagos State for allegedly raping and impregnating his landlord’s 15-year-old daughter.

New Telegraph reports that Adefioye who resides in the teenager's father's house at 32, Shittu Street, Dopemu, Agege, a suburb of the state, had lured the girl into his room several times and had unlawful carnal knowledge of her resulting in the pregnancy.
The police prosecutor, Inspector Clifford Ogu told the court that the offense was committed at the apartment of the accused whenever the girl went to watch films.
Inspector Ogu said that the victim told her parents the accused raped her several times and was responsible for her pregnancy.
According to the prosecutor, the offense contravened Section 259 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State 2011.

When the one charge of rape was read to Adefioye, he pleaded not guilty and the Chief Magistrate, Mrs. Taiwo Akanni, granted the accused bail in the sum of N250,000 with two sureties in like sum and while the case was adjourned until March 22 for hearing.
