Women’s denim brand NYDJ has partnered with Clothes4Souls, a division of the non-profit Soles4Souls, which creates sustainable jobs and provides relief through the distribution of clothing around the world, on a new charitable campaign. Starting Wednesday and throughout 2017, NYDJ will donate an item of clothing to Clothes4Souls when a customer tries on a pair of jeans during designated events and promotions. Clothes4Souls distributes clothing to people in poverty and victims of natural disasters. In addition, donations are a key component to the company’s micro-enterprise programs, providing the means for entrepreneurs in developing nations to step out of poverty. NYDJ kicks off National Fit Month on Wednesday and will celebrate by hosting several Try On events across the brand’s retail partners and their stand-alone stores, donating an item of clothing to benefit women in need when customers simply try on a pair of NYDJs. NYDJ will also donate an item of clothing to Clothes4Souls in the month of March when a customer buys a pair of jeans at NYDJ.com. The brand aims to donate a total of 50,000 items of clothing with a retail value of about $5 million to Clothes4Souls and will hold ongoing trial programs that benefit the charity through the remainder of the year to
