The current 8-year battle of Nigerian troops with the Boko Haram terrorists seems to be taking a negative toll on the psyche of some soldiers.
One young Nigerian soldier, De Myt Trill actively battling the dreaded Boko Haram sect in Borno State – north-eastern part of Nigeria has lamented his loss of human feeling.
According to him, the regular battles with insurgents have turned him into a ‘killing machine’. He made this known via his Facebook page and the news has since gone viral.
