For his performance, the former AS Trencin and FC Copenhagen star was included in the MLS Team of the week while one of his goals, he second in the game was nominated for Goal of the Week.
The Portland Timbers will next face LA Galaxy on Monday, March 13 at the StubHub Center, Carson, California.
Adi is yet to play for the Super Eagles but was in the squad to face Egypt in a 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in March 2016.
He has two caps for Nigeria U-23.
