Nigerian striker Brown Ideye could not find the net on his Tianjin TEDA debut on Friday, March 10.
Ideye joined Tianjin TEDA from the Greek side, Olympiacos in the last week of the Chinese transfer window.
After missing out on Tianjin TEDA’s opening day 2-0 defeat to Shandong Luneng in the Chinese Super League (CSL), the striker returned as they hosted Jiangsu Suning in matchday two.

His compatriot and national team captain John Mikel Obi was also in action for Tianjin TEDA and played in central defence.
Mikel Obi who also played for the full 90 minutes had his former Chelsea teammate, Ramires in action for the hosts Jiangsu Suning.

Tianjin TEDA are now 11th in the CSL table with just one point from two games.
They host Chongqing Lifan in their next game on Sunday, April 2.
Ideye and Mikel are not part of the Super Eagles squad for the friendly games against Burkina Faso and Senegal in March.
Super Eagles boss, Gernot Rohr chose to leave out the Nigeria internationals so they will be able to settle at their new club in China.
