Bello Masari: Katsina Governor says Buhari’s return is the best thing that has happened to Nigeria is 2017

The Governor thanked Nigerians for their overwhelming show of love towards the President while he was away.

The Katsina state Governor, Bello Masari has joined Nigerians to rejoice over the return of President Buhari from his vacation.

Masari said the safe return of the President is the best thing that has happened to Nigeria in 2017.

The Governor thanked Nigerians for their overwhelming show of love towards the President while he was away.

Masari also thanked God for answering the prayers of Nigerians and bringing Buhari back home hale and hearty.

According to Vanguard, Masari, in a statement signed by his media aide said “All praise be to Allah, the All mighty, who has answered our collective prayers by returning the President back to us hale and hearty to continue leading us in the just, fair and sincere manner that are his trademark over the years.

 “The President’s safe return today is so far the best gift we as Nigerians have so far had this year.

“The Governor, who made these observations yesterday in reaction to the return of the President from a 50-day medical trip to the United Kingdom, also lauded Nigerians for their prayers for the health and wellbeing of President Buhari while he was away.

“Governors Masari and Katsina State had witnessed a series of prayer and fasting sessions organised institutionally and privately, by both Muslims and Christians for the health of the President and the welfare of the nation.

“Governor Masari urged Nigerians to always put their leaders and country in thoughts and prayers, saying that with positive thoughts and prayers, the country would overcome any challenges confronting it."

President Buhari returned to Nigeria in the early hours of Friday, March 10, 2017, after spending over 40 days in London.
