The emcee talks about the trend of rappers now doubling up as singers, among other gist.
Ace ThaEmcee shares his views on the current state of Hip-Hop and rap in Nigeria. He also discusses his new single 'No time for playing' with City FM 105.1 on-air personality Sensei Uche.
On what he feels about rappers doubling up as singers as well, Ace says it's fine as long as you're comfortable doing it, and it could end up adding more value to you.
"Being a rapper, if you can't even transform the music sometimes yourself, it's a fault on your own part because you get stuck in a box at some point, if you can open that branch of yourself for that extra flow regardless of what people think, as long as you're comfortable with it, you are fine," Ace says.
He adds that everybody is out on a journey, and needs time to figure it out.
