Chairman of Nasawara United Isaac Danladi confirmed that they will leave the Lafia City stadium if the incident repeats itself.
Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) club, Nasarawa United FC might abandon their home ground of Lafia City Stadium after some fans attacked players and officials after their goalless draw with Plateau United on Sunday, February 5.
After that game, coach of Nasarawa United FC, Kabiru Dogo was held hostage and threatened to beat up some of the players.
According to Punch, some quarters of the supporters are also alleged to be furious with the club for not fielding indigenes of the state for games.

He also revealed that the hoodlums have been arrested by the police.
“In fact, the boys that were involved in the incident were promptly arrested, but after they pleaded with the management of the club they were released,” Dogo told Punch.
“I believe that with the agreement reached so far with the supporters’ club, nothing like that will happen again."
Nasarawa United FC are currently 11th on the NPFL table and will next play at the Lafia City Stadium when they host Sunshine Stars of Akure on Sunday, February 19.
