When it came time to choose a location for her wedding, Mary Nelson Sinclair looked back to her high school days at Millbrook in upstate New York. “It’s one of the most beautiful places and so special to my family and me,” she says. The couple’s closest friends roomed in the dorms, which had all been outfitted with linens and stocked with food and adult beverages for the weekend. On the big night, the after-party went until 3:00 a.m., but many of those staying on campus were up until sunrise, “living out all their boarding school dreams,” jokes the bride.
