Sonda Rhimes is developing a TV show based on Nigerian American writer Luvvie Ajayi's "I'm Judging You: The Do Better Manual."
Shonda Rhimes, Betsy Beers’ Shondaland and ABC Signature Studios have acquired rights to Nigerian-born writer Luvvie Ajayi's debut book, "I'm Judging You: The Do Better."
"I’m Judging You" which is a humorous manual that instructs people on how to do better, will be adapted into a cable comedy series by Shondaland.
Born in 1985, Luvvie Ajayi is the author of New York Times best-seller "I'm Judging You: The Do-Better Manual."
She was born in Nigeria, but she moved to Chicago with her family when she was nine.

Shonda Rhimes is popular for "Grey's Anatomy," "How to Get Away with Murder," "The Catch" and "Scandal."
ABC recently ordered a pilot for a new Shondaland legal drama. The untitled drama will be written by "Scandal" writer, Paul Davies.
Also in development at ABC is a Shondaland comedy and an upcoming untitled series formerly titled "Still Star-Crossed", which would bring the tally of Shondaland-produced series on ABC to seven if they receive greenlight.
