Fragrance Foundation to Honor Marc Puig, Harry Frémont at 2017 Awards

Marc Puig and Harry Frémont will be recognized at the Fragrance Foundation Awards for 2017. The foundation is naming Puig, chairman and chief executive officer of Puig, as an honoree for The Fragrance Foundation Awards 2017 Hall of Fame. Frémont, a master perfumer at Firmenich, will receive the Lifetime Achievement, Perfumer award. “Marc Puig is one of the most respected executives working today and Harry Frémont is a living legend in our industry,” said Elizabeth Musmanno, president of The Fragrance Foundation. “We look forward to celebrating them and all of the products and people who give life to fragrance.” The 2017 Fragrance Foundation Awards will be presented by Hearst Magazines and held on June 14 at Alice Tully Hall in New York. Carolina Herrera, with her daughter Carolina Herrera Baéz and model Karlie Kloss, are set to serve as co-chairs of the event. During Puig’s career, he moved from Antonio Puig SA as a director of research and development and new product development to president of Puig in the U.S. He’s overseen the Carolina Herrera fashion and fragrances business, as well as the Nina Ricci and Paco Rabanne brands.
