Senator Dino Melaye alleged that over N5.1 trillion has been unaccounted for by the NNPC.
Kogi state lawmaker, Senator Dino Melaye has alleged that there is 'high level corruption' in the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).
Melaye in a petition on Tuesday February 28, 2017, decried the non-remittance of subsidy funds accrued to the federation account.

The lawmaker alleged that over N5.1 trillion has been unaccounted for by the NNPC.
Senate President Bukola Saraki noted that the NNPC is a great source of revenue for the country given Nigeria's dependence on crude oil.
Meanwhile, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) will interrogate Senator Melaye over alleged theft of more than N630 million.
Melaye, who is the chairman, Senate Committee on FCT, allegedly stole the money from the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA).
