Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, has continued to reveal more sordid details about her travails in the hands of her estranged husband.
The actress, in a series of tweets on Friday revealed that she used her platform to lie for her husband just to make him appear to be a better person.
Responding to a fan who inquired about the expensive gifts she received from him, she said; “Hello madam, because I posted stuff saying my ex husband bought for me isn’t true. I used my platform to lie to make him the man he is today. So don’t come at me with the bullshit of enjoying the man’s money. I have not started talking, I will bare it all but there is time for everything. I care now for the STDs because I’m no longer naïve. I’m a mother who wants to live long for my child. I’m not a saint and cheating isn’t the only reason I took the forever walk.”
Also responding to a fan who urged her not to give people a reason to laugh, she wrote;They can laugh as long as I didn’t come out in a body bag. No one knows how many STDs I’ve treated or the pains I know in marriage. If laughter is all they have then the karma that bites me awaits them all.
She goes on to admit that although no marriage is perfect, but hers was based on gross lies, deceit, scam and many more darkness.
“I loved the man. No one begged me to. I take all the blame,” she added.
The actress recently moved out of her matrimonial home, fuelling rumours that a divorce is on the offing.
Her estranged husband has, among other things, been accused of sleeping around with his personal assistant, Rosaline Meurer and other Nollywood stars.
